Haley’s Happy Birthdays
Haley spent 2 of her 3 birthdays at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. Her family knows first hand that’s it’s no fun to celebrate your special day in the hospital, so they created Haley’s Happy Birthdays.
Partnering with the Child Life Departments at 8 pediatric hospitals, Haley’s Happy Birthdays delivers a “Birthday in Box” to patients admitted to the hospital on their birthday. Patients receive a balloon bouquet, a gift, and all the birthday decorations they need to celebrate their special day.
There is also a “Birthday in a Bag” option for outpatient kiddos celebrating their birthdays when they come in for doctor appointments, labs or infusions.
We have delivered over 1,400 birthdays to patients celebrating in the hospital!
