Haley’s Holiday Helpers

In November we launched a new program called "Haley's Holiday Helpers." Our goal was to provide assistance to families in active treatment this Holiday season.

We had no idea the impact we would be able to have on these patient families and the impact they would have on us! Because of our amazing donors, we were able to help
10 families this Christmas and provide over $5000 in Holiday cheer!

We purchased Christmas trees, ornaments, Christmas lights, stockings, gifts, and gift cards. We were able to bless so many! These are our donor dollars work! Providing Christmas morning to patients and their families. Read below to learn more about the families we helped and see some pictures of what we were able to provide.

Families we helped:

  • A family of 7 that moved from Seattle to receive care at Texas Children’s Hospital. Their son has been battling a brain tumor for 10 years.

  • A family of 5, that have a small business, 2 special needs children, 2 sibling birthdays in December and recently received a Cancer diagnosis.

  • A single Grandmother raising her 2 grandsons that travels three hours each way for her grandsons treatment.

  • A single mom of 3 boys that moved from Chicago, to receive care at Texas Children’s, after she was told she was out of treatment options for her 2 year old.

  • A family of 5 that just moved from Florida.

  • A family that has been in active treatment all year and mom had to quit her job to be a full time caregiver.

  • A single mom whose daughter was recently diagnosed and did not have a bed.

  • A family who’s son is in hospice and wanted a special swing.

  • A single mom whose daughter has been battling cancer for 7 years and recently relapsed.

  • A single mom of 3, who recently went through a divorce while her daughter was in active treatment.

These are the types of patients and families you support when you donate to us. Real families struggling with hard diagnosis. Every one of your dollars goes to support them and make these Moments of Joy possible for them. Click here to donate today.
