2022: What a Year!

When we started The Haley Rasco Foundation in August of this year, we never could have imagined the impact we would be able to make in 2022.  Because of the support of our amazing donors we were able to grow, expand and provide countless Moments of Joy for pediatric hospital patients and their families.  Read below to see our patient impact this year.

We now serve 3 hospitals:

Texas Children's Hospital Main Campus - Houston, Texas
Texas Children's Hospital The Woodlands Campus - The Woodlands, Texas
M.D. Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital - Houston, Texas

With Haley’s Happy Birthdays:

We’ve provided 12+ Birthdays to patients admitted to the hospital during their birthday.

We’ve delivered 60 Birthdays Bags to outpatient clinics for patients who have a doctor’s appointment on their birthday.

We’ve delivered 200+ toys to Texas Children's Hospital and M.D. Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital through donations from our Amazon Wish List.  Click here to purchase a toy for a patient today.

We delivered 80 craft pumpkins to the patients on the Oncology, Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant floors so every patient could have one to paint this fall; as well as deliver a huge basket of goodies for their Trick or Treating celebration.

We held a “Create a Card” campaign where we sent blank cards to children, families, co-workers, teachers, cancer survivors, young and old to decorate and return back to us.  We then mailed over 1,800 Holiday Cards to:

Texas Children’s Hospital - Main Campus - Houston, Tx
Texas Children’s Hospital - The Woodlands Campus - The Woodlands, Tx
Children’s Health - Dallas, Tx
Methodist Children’s Hospital - San Antonio, Tx
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital - Memphis, TN
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOPS) - Philadelphia, PA
Boston Children’s Hospital - Boston, MA
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles - Los Angeles, CA

We provided all the art supplies for a Holiday canvas painting party on the Oncology and Hematology floor in December.  Patients got to participate in a Holiday activity, while socializing with their peers.

We started “Haley’s Holiday Helpers” and served 10 families with children in active cancer or hematology treatment.  We provided Christmas trees, Christmas decorations, gifts and gift cards to create wonderful Christmas mornings for these patients and their families.
